When the match starts a Relic randomly spawns. The first Initiate to claim the Relic becomes the Chosen One and is given extra health, shield & speed. Only the Chosen One can score points for eliminating Initiates. A gold beacon follows the Chosen One, healing them but also revealing their location to Initiates. If an Initiate eliminates too many other Initiates, they will become a Traitor. Traitors are slow, unable to equip any items and worth points to both the Chosen One & Initiates.
