2 Great Tips on How to Use the Player Reference Device

CREATIVE TIPS | PLAYER REFERENCE DEVICE
The player reference device is primarily used to relay statistic information to other players. For instance, on leaderboards or to display a certain type of player stat. But did you know that the player reference device is more that just a stat device?
Here are Two Unique Ways You Can Use the Player Reference Device!
1 | TO TRACK A PLAYER AND PERFORM AN ACTION Once a player is registered to the player reference device, you can think of it as the player being marked. At anytime you can set the device to activate and perform an action. For instance, you could set it to transport the player, eliminate the player, switch the player's class, or what ever you can think of!
2 | INSTEAD OF THE CHARACTER DEVICE Initial spawns of the character device can be rather costly, and if you find yourself in a situation in which you need to save memory, you may want to consider using a Player Reference Device. To make them inter-actable, simply add a button connected to a pop up device. You will save a bit on memory and be able to make your idea come to life!
