A Quick Guide to Prepare for UEFN 2.0

CREATIVE TIPS | PREPARING FOR 2.0
When 2.0 launches, it is rumored to bring an entire new creative economy with it, introduce creators to the wonders of the verse language, and provide new innovative ways to create games than ever before. Due to these amazing changes happening at the same time, it could introduce a huge learning curve to creators who are not familiar with the new process.
In addition to this, a new batch of creative studios might begin to take interest, form teams and jump into the mix, increasing the competition to the already fragile creative space. This change calls for a lot of deep reflection and preparation for whats to come.
Here Are Two Tips to Help You Prepare for UEFN 2.0!
1 | START BUILDING IN UNREAL ENGINE There is nothing better than being familiar with your tools. Knowing what does what, and how it all works. The UEFN 2.0 interface highly resembles what you see when working in Unreal Engine. I highly suggest that you try to take the time to go in there and build a few things to get the hang of it. You can even watch tutorials on how to building landscaping, creating structures and more. Getting familiar with the tools will help you be ready to build at launch without delay!
2 | JOIN A CREATIVE TEAM We should expect the launch of 2.0 to feel somewhat similar to how it was when Fortnite Creative started. For some creators, it will be like learning all over again. For others, who are already familiar with coding, or working in a unreal engine environment, it will sink it much easier. This could result in a huge learning curve that could divide the creative community in half. That's why it may become important to join a team before UEFN 2.0 launches. In a team environment, you will be able to learn faster than you would if you were alone. Production time would decrease, and if there is one skill you lack in, another member on your team would be there to help fill it!
With UEFN on the horizon, it is best to be prepared anyway you can! If these tips helped you, We'd love to hear it! Feel free to share it with everyone in the community in the FCHQ DISCORD!
