EXCITING NEW UPDATES IN THE FNC ECOSYSTEM
Epic Games recently unveiled a series of exciting updates in the latest Fortnite Ecosystem Patch v25.10, Wednesday, June 20th, 2023! It introduced new options for various devices and added more tools to the creative arsenal to experiment with!
One of the most welcomed changes is the In-Game Creator Code update, which is active now! This new change will display your Creator Code on all of your Island Pages and your Creator Page, making it easier for players to support your work!
FORTNITE CREATIVE UPDATES
The Upgraded Conditional Button, Item Granter, and Hop Flower Bouncer devices are now equipped with new options that offer more control and customization for your gameplay. Likewise, the Upgraded Guard Spawner received several updates, including new functions and events, promising a more refined experience!
NEW MY ISLAND FEATURES
Meanwhile, the My Island settings now feature the "Edit Mode - Enable Vehicle Damage" option, preventing unintended changes caused by vehicle damage during editing.
In terms of new additions, expect to see the Cloak Gauntlets, MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, and a new consumable, Boar Hair, in the Creative Inventory and UEFN Content Browser.
UEFN UPDATES
On the UEFN side, new events and device options have been exposed to Verse through the AI Patrol Path Node Device, and UEFN’s Audio Player now has two additional options for customization.
NEW AI CONTROL FEATURES
New gameplay examples, island templates, and AI features have also been rolled out to further aid your creative processes. Notably, Epic has added new functions to the AI module in Verse, empowering you to take control of a NPC and provide them with navigation commands.
WORLD PARTITIONS
Another significant update includes the ability to load and unload regions in UEFN using World Partition, which improves the viewport responsiveness and frame rate, particularly beneficial for larger projects with multiple collaborators.
NEW AI CONTROL FEATURES
Lastly, new events and functions have been added to the Verse API for several Creative AI Devices, including the AI Patrol Path device, Guard Spawner device, Creature Spawner device, and Wildlife Spawner device.
