FNC & UEFN PATCH NOTES v25.30
The v25.30 update introduces a myriad of features, adjustments, and fixes designed to elevate the gaming experience for users.
From communication upgrades to enhanced usability tools, here's what's new:
Voice Chat
- UEFN and Creative islands have rolled out a support system for players to communicate through either the Game or Party voice channels.
Upgraded Devices Reminder
Creative islands have long offered the option for users to manually convert their islands to upgraded devices. Now, in upcoming updates, these islands will use these upgraded devices by default.
Features of Upgraded Devices Include:
- Direct numerical input
- Color pickers
- Enhanced features for several other devices
Square Thumbnails Reminder
A shift is taking place in content displays: thumbnails are changing. Users can now add a square thumbnail (1024x1024) along with the existing tile, prepping for the switch to the new thumbnail size later in the year.

Fast Iteration: A New Option
Enhancing the transition between Edit and Play modes, the new Fast Iteration option offers the following:
- Immediate game countdown.
- No change in player location when switching between modes.
- Skipping of end game slow-motion phase.
- Bypassing end game scoreboards and timers.

UEFN v25.30 Update
New Additions
- An unsafe website warning will now pop up when users open project documentation links directing to non-Epic sites.
- The Contact Player Support hyperlink has been made visible for users trying to access or upload a locked project.
- Rectified the missing Create Physics Asset option during FBX and Datasmith skeletal mesh imports in UEFN. Users can now establish a physics asset upon import.
Fixes
- The Project Browser now correctly responds to double-click actions on local projects.
Verse API Updates
- Removed: The WorldPartition module.
New Additions:
- Localization support for devices such as:
- Button device
- Conditional Button device
- Switch device
- Billboard device
- Tracker device
Verse support has also been incorporated for the Item Shop Portal device.
