FNC UPDATE V26.30

Here is a Quick Review of What's New!

New Weapons & Consumables

Weapons: Tactical DMR, Thorne's Vampiric Blade, and Wood Stake Shotgun.

Consumables: Crash Pad Jr., Business Turret, and Witch Broom.

Save Point Device in UEFN

The Save Point device is now integrated into UEFN. Players can save their progress and continue from where they left off upon returning, keeping the same stats and inventory.

Upgraded Devices

All islands will now transition to the upgraded devices, which offer enhancements such as:

• Direct numerical input.

• Color pickers.

• New features and updated ones.

• Replacements of trap devices with copy-paste friendly props.

Unified Memory Calculation

A new memory calculation method is introduced, offering a more accurate reflection of memory costs. It promotes savings when placing multiple instances of the same model.

IARC Ratings

Starting November 14, Fortnite will feature IARC-assigned ratings for all content. Creators need to fill out a questionnaire from October 16 to obtain these ratings. New Prefabs & Galleries

Prefab: Eclipsed Estate.

Galleries: Four new Eclipsed Estate-themed galleries.

Updated Character Device

Now you can set the collision on the Character Device! This allows you to decide whether the characters should collide with the players.

New UEFN Project Template

A new 'Prop Hunt' game template has been introduced. Players can disguise themselves, hide, and hunt disguised players for points. View more info on how you can get started with this new template here: Create a Prop Hunt with UEFN!

Custom Lobby Backgrounds

Creators can now personalize their island's lobby backgrounds using the new Photo Capture Mode or third-party tools.

Playtester Addition

Playtesters provide valuable feedback on gameplay mechanics, identifying bugs or glitches that developers might overlook. Their diverse gaming experiences and perspectives help ensure a game is user-friendly and engaging for a wider audience. Now creators can add playtesters to their island projects simply by turning the Private Version of the island into a playtestable project! New Creator Pages

Creator pages have gone live on Fortnite.com, allowing personalization and a unique URL with the creator's name. To set up your creator page, log into your creator portal > click your name on the left hand side and fill out the information > press submit. Once approved you will be able to see it live on Fortnite.com as well as in Discovery!
