FNC & UEFN v30.30 PATCH NOTES

In the latest Fortnite Creative and UEFN patch update, exciting new features and improvements have been introduced to enhance your creative development experience in Fortnite. Let's go ahead and jump in to discover what's new!

Create Fall Guys Islands in Fortnite

You can now create Fall Guys obstacle courses in Fortnite using UEFN and Creative. The new project template includes Fall Guys assets, allowing players to move like the Beans from Fall Guys. You will be able to publish your Fall Guys islands starting August 6 through the Creator Portal! If you want to share feedback, be sure to do so on the EDC !

New Side Scroller Controls and Orthographic Camera Settings

Introducing the Side Scroller Controls Device in Early Access and Orthographic Camera settings for Creative and UEFN. These tools enable retro-style 2D gameplay by clamping player movement to a directional axis and removing perspective from the camera view.

Scene Graph Platformer Tutorial

Learn to create platformers using the Scene Graph Platformer Tutorial. This guide helps you build custom Verse components for platform behaviors, making it easy to iterate and create levels quickly.

New Device Updates and Items

Creator Profile Link Device: Direct players to your profile with a QR code. Save Point Device Updates: Choose to save round stats, career stats, or both.

Upcoming: Session Length Metrics in Creator Portal

Session length metrics will soon be available in the Analytics tab of the Creator Portal, with more metrics to be added.

Community Bug Fixes

Improvements include:

• Creative Updates: Fixed season tags for Conductor Hand Cannon and renamed older Suppressed Pistols.
• Device Improvements: Added new drum kits and optimized instrument players.
• UEFN Enhancements: Improved environment tools, added Skeletal Mesh support, and fixed various editor issues.
