Introducing Fortnite Map Analytics on FCHQ!

We've got some incredibly exciting news to share! For years, the community has been asking for more detailed Fortnite map analytics, and Epic Games has delivered. They recently unveiled an Official Analytics API, and FCHQ is going to use it to power a new suite of analytics tools!
This is a game-changer for the entire Fortnite creative community. For creators, it means access to crucial data that can help refine map design, understand player behavior, and ultimately build more engaging experiences. For players, it leads to better discoverability of high-quality maps and a richer overall gaming experience. For the ecosystem as a whole, it fosters a data-driven approach to map creation and improvement.
What New Metrics Are Available?
This new API unlocks a wealth of detailed metrics, including:
- Average Minutes Per Player
- Peak CCU (Concurrent Users)
- Favorites and Recommendations
- Total Minutes Played
- Total Plays
- Unique Players
- Retention (Day 1 and Day 7)

Ecosystem-Level Analytics:
We're going to be providing a bird's-eye view of the entire Fortnite creative landscape. Our new dashboards will showcase:
- Overall Fortnite Player Count: Track the total number of players in Fortnite
- Creators & Maps Overview: See the total number of active creators and published maps.
- New & Updated Maps: Get a snapshot of how many maps are being newly published or updated recently.
- Ecosystem Averages:
- Average Play Time: Understand the typical duration a player spends in a creative map.
