What are MegaGrants

Epic MegaGrants are investments from Epic to sponsor the development of certain projects, which otherwise may not have funding to go ahead. They are targeted at smaller developer teams, including solo builders!

No Luck with Cycle 1?

Cycle 2 is another chance to submit for an Epic Mega grant and obtain funding for your island!

Cycle 2:

Overall Dates: July 14th - December 5th

Submission: July 14th - September 22th

Review period: September 22nd - November 24th

Decisions: December 1st - December 5th

Key tips to a great submission!

• Include a compelling video

Use a video to showcase the fundamentals of your game so Epic can better understand what your island is about - but keep it “Short and Sweet”

• Be specific on what you are asking for

Let Epic know on how you plan to use the funding. The clearer you are increases the chances of you securing funding.

• Include a roadmap

A roadmap will allow Epic to see your plans for the near future, and why you require extra funding.

• Ask for feedback

Get feedback on your island before submitting to make it as great as possible. For example, submit to feature Friday in the FCHQ Discord to get expert feedback from our playtest team leaders.
