Orbit Camera Device: A New Perspective
The introduction of the Orbit Camera device marks a significant advancement in gameplay and cinematic creation within Fortnite. Now in early access, this feature allows creators to attach a camera to the player's character, offering the freedom to rotate it in any direction. This is especially beneficial for third-person games, enhancing player immersion by allowing them to explore environments in a more embodied way. With customization options for movement, including Distance and Offset, and the ability to hide the player at a distance of zero, the Orbit Camera device is set to revolutionize the way we engage with Fortnite's worlds.
Few notes about the Orbit Camera from FL4k (Epic)
"We're aware of an issue with the Orbit Camera when it is placed on an island and the island is converted to a UEFN project. As a workaround, you can place the camera again in the UEFN project. We will let you know when we have more information about a fix."

Post Process Device: Enhancing Visuals
The new Post Process device gives creators the power to apply and control post-process effects directly on the player's camera. From adding a nostalgic Sepia tone to emulating the surveillance look of CCTV, these effects can dynamically blend in or out based on triggers. This device not only enhances the visual appeal of your creations but also opens up new storytelling possibilities by setting the mood and atmosphere through visual effects.
Custom Persistable Data in Verse
Fortnite's commitment to building a metaverse where experiences persist across play sessions takes a leap forward with Custom Persistable Data in Verse. This feature allows creators to define custom data that can be saved and persisted, enabling dynamic and alive experiences that encourage players to return.
