Using Teleporters Easily

Easy Guide To Using Teleporters on Fortnite Creative!!!
In this article I will run you through how to utilise the Teleporters to create many things within your maps. The possibilities with this device are endless. Let’s cover the easy ways of event binding before we use the classic channels system!
Teleporters With Event Binding
The event binding system is simple. Similar to the channels but easier. Let’s use the example of a button linked to a Teleporter. With the button device, rename it to something unique as well as your Teleporter device. Let’s call the Teleporter “Tutorial Teleporter” and Button “Tutorial Button”

Interact with “Tutorial Button” and click on the events.

Click on the setting stating: When interacting send event to.. press on this setting.

Select the device “Tutorial Teleporter”.

Next to the “Tutorial Teleporter” select the setting initially stating: teleport to..

Press “Ok”.
Now when the user interacts with the button they will teleport to the “Tutorial Teleporter”. You can drag this to any area of your map. Get creative with this!!!
Teleporters With Channels
Channels have been the default system since the beginning of Fortnite Creative. The main concept of this is to link the two devices with the settings you are interested in the devices to react with on the same channel. The event binding system is just a simplified version of channels.
To clarify, the channels will be linked to the devices but naming the devices will still be crucial! Event binding will become mandatory soon, so if you name your devices now, it will be easier to convert!

Adjust your settings for the Button Device

Select the Channels Tab

“When Interacted Transmit on Channel..”
With this setting you want to add any number that is free and unlinked to any other devices. Let’s call this channel X. When interacted Transmit on Channel X.

Locate your Teleporter Device.

Adjust the settings to your Teleporter device.

Select The Channels Tab.

Teleport When Receiving From Channel X.
