Star Wars Is Coming to UEFN!

Nearly a year after its original announcement, Star Wars is coming to UEFN and 1.0 Creative mode.

During last year’s (2025) state of unreal in June, Epic announced that creators would be able to use Star Wars “features, templates and assets” in the future.

Today, Epic has finally teased the release of star wars UEFN with a tweet on their twitter account, citing a release date of March 19th 2026, Which is when the new season launches.

What will be released at launch?

From our knowledge through leaks, at launch we will get

• Lighsabers
• New Devices - including new types of chests
• Star Wars galleries and prefabs
• New assets (eg of the star destroyer)
• Most of the Star Wars weapons, including those in the galactic battle season

Reminder Of IP Islands

When you publish an IP island you are expected to share a % of all revenue made with the IP holder.

Like TMNT, Fall Guys, Lego creative modes... Star Wars Creative and UEFN is a separate island to regular creative. It offers unique functionality such as IP props, devices and features, however you will have to share a % of revenue with the IP holder. This % has yet to be determined for Star Wars.

The Leaked Editor

Don’t watch if you don’t want any spoilers, but BeastFNCreative has leaked the editor, at release, early.
