What is Verse & What we know so far
Verse will be here on March 22, 2023! But what do we know about it? From what I see, the community is just as confused as to what Verse is or even what will happen once it arrives.
Even Dreamscape weighs in with some valid points
There have even been talks of Verse being somewhat comparable to that of Javascript, Java or even Python!
Just recently there was a paper that was released focusing on the Verse Language that I would love for you guys to take a look at:

Unless you have PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science, this document probably isn't going to help explain much, so let's break down what we know about the upcoming Verse language, but in, you know... human language
What is the Verse Language?
Verse is a brand-new programming language that was introduced by Epic and developed by Simon Peyton Jones, a British computer scientist who researches the implementation and applications of functional programming languages. (source: https://twitter.com/TimSweeneyEpic/status/1602173483806597121)
"Verse focuses on five fundamental ideas that, in the opinion of Epic Games, will be essential to creating the metaverse, say Simon Peyton Jones, Tim Sweeney, Lennart Augustsson, Koen Claessen, Ranjit Jhala, and Olin Shivers in a presentation.Verse is focused on making it possible to create social interactions in a shared 3D world in real time. The phrase will also encourage a free market with clear regulations and no corporate overspending."

As with the Meta-verse, Verse will be built publicly and easily accessible to programmers, artists, and designers alike.
