Themed Epic’s Picks

Today, Epic have announced huge updates to Epics Picks in an effort to help put “Originality, Creativity and innovation in the spotlight”)

Row Changes

• Four islands will be chosen to be highlighted in Epic’s Picks instead of six
• Epic’s Picks islands will have larger tiles in discover, and will also play their retrospective trailer when hovered over
• If a map reaches 4000 => CCU, the map may also be appear in the homebar or “Trending in discover” row.
• If an island reaches 2000 => CCU, the map will be put forward for a MOTD promotion in the news.

Selection Changes

• Each Quarter, Epic’s team will pick certain genres or devices they will want to primarily feature in Epics Picks

Note: The map doesn’t have to include the theme or devices, it just increases the chances of the map getting into discover

Theming from July-December 2025

Theme:

- Social Deduction/Survival games
	- Islands using bubble chat, disguise device, voting device, skilled interactions ect
  - Device: Scene Graph
          - Islands showcasing the true strength of scene graph
  - Action RPG’s
	- Islands having quest lines and unique progression systems aswell as unique narratives will also be prioritised when featuring
