The v32.10 update in Fortnite Creative and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) brings exciting new features and enhancements for creators.

Here’s a rundown of a few major highlights:

  1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Assets: Creators can now publish islands featuring TMNT assets starting November 13. This adds a popular franchise's elements, allowing for dynamic new gameplay experiences.

  2. First-Person Camera Mode (Beta): On December 11, the First Person Camera Mode device will enter beta, enabling creators to publish islands that utilize this perspective. This feature is expected to enhance immersive gameplay.

  3. Holiday-Themed LEGO® Template: A Santa’s Toy Factory template, designed by LEGO®, is now available. It includes sample Verse code, tutorials, and resources to help creators build a factory-style game where players can harvest resources, fulfill orders, and upgrade their factories.

  4. Chapter 5 Time of Day Manager (TODM): The new TODM brings UEFN's lighting parity to Creative mode, enhancing visual realism. Creators are encouraged to opt into the TODM early, as all islands will transition to it soon, replacing the Skydome device.

  5. Unreal Revision Control (URC) Enhancements: New URC status highlighting in the viewport allows teams to see the status of assets, like which ones are checked out by others, improving collaborative workflows.

  6. New Device Features:

    • Orbit Camera Device: Now includes a “Clamp Horizontal Mode” with options like Player Relative, Device Relative, and World Relative to control camera rotation.

    • Expanded Galleries: The Megalodon Prefabs and various nature galleries, including the Shipyard and Underworld Nature, add fresh assets for island creation.

  7. Community Bug Fixes: Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements based on community feedback have been implemented, such as adjustments to TMNT Mouser visual effects and increased functionality for the Outliner.
