v35.00 Is Here (And its 🔥)

V35.00 is a huge update, and we have a lot to go through!
PHYSICS!
After years of teasers, we now have a beta physics system inside of fortnite.
Key note: Physics are an opt in feature, and islands cannot be currently published with physics enabled.
Setting "Physics" to TRUE in project settings will enable:
- A special player spawner device, to spawn a physics based character
- Special props with "Fort Physics" properties (All fortnite props are available to be physics props)
- Enables physics settings with some devices
Physical objects can be interacted by players, for example.
- Jumping in them
- Hitting them with a pickaxe
- Using "hitscan" weapons on them
Devices can even interact with physics too!
in UEFN, these devices are found inside the IExperimental Folder
Some noticeable devices are:
- Prop mover (Animated objects can react with physics)
- Sequencer (Animated objects with the sequencer wont interact with physics objects)
Verse API:
2 new endpoints were added for the volume device PropEnterEvent and PropExitEvent
Movement:
Physics players will for now only have limited movement capability
Weapons and items
- All weapons can be used by physics characters, but only hitscan weapons affect physics props
- All items can be used, but epic warn that some may not function as intended.
⚠️ There is a known issue where changing physics settings on a prop component requires pushing changes. This will be addressed in a future release.
